Talking commision/ bonuses

My small business is looking for creative ways to have commision or bonuses for sales, but how do we fairly distribute commision, when it takes 2 or 3 people to pull off the entire deal? Anyone have any ideas for us??

Team revenue goals, perhaps? You don't have disclose percentages to the actual team members, so you can weight it based on actual participation...

When you say 2-3 people to pull off the detail, what does that mean?

Is there one account manager responsible for the whole deal, and they are working with product knowledge experts/ technicians etc?

We have account managers that receive a commission (10% of Gross Profit). They are ultimately responsible for the sale, so they are the ones that receive the commission.

However, we have also used bonuses to keep projects on track. For example, if we quote $20,000 for a development project, we want to make sure that our hours fall into place so that we make the profit that we thought we should. Therefore, we sometimes bonus our technicians/ developers by their efficiency.

Just some thoughts
