Default Tactics For Local Franchise Marketing

I'm just wondering if there are any preferred direct marketing tactics for local franchises? What works and what doesn't? Should we use a mix of online and offline methods?

What is the Franchise selling?

It really depends on what type of business it is.

Without specifics... best I can do is somewhat of a generic answer.

Since your in the Direct Mail forum... I'll say this. For most direct mail campaigns I want to see a good website with either proper SEO or PPC advertising to back it up.

Direct mail can be effective for many types of businesses, but it works best when it's properly backed up by a good website that can be easily found. (that used to be yellow pages, but times have changed.)

I think you should use both, Online and offline marketing techniques to promote your franchise business. You can do local listings in search engines to start marketing your franchise business.

It really depends on what you're selling. I don't believe you always need a website, but if you have heavy competition, it helps.

Direct mail is a good form of marketing to entice more people to visit your website.
