Sometimes I find myself surfing the web and ending up on websites that are good but can have a better conversion of sales and visitors if only they had use these simple techniques..
This is one of the most important method of online marketing besides getting visitors to your site. What is it? It is your sales letter! You can attract as much visitors as you want to your website but if your sales letter is not up to par then you will have bad conversions and no return visitors. I want to share with you a simple step that I use to maximize the effectiveness of any of my websites conversions or testing.
The first thing you should do when writing your sales copy is,
Understand your prospect.
Think about your potential customers, what do they care about? how can your product or service fill a need for them? These are the most critical questions you must answer before you begin writing because the content of your sales letter will be driven by them. You must stress the benefits of your product or service.
For example, if you read through your sales letter and it doesn't prompt you to read on or click on your offers, then your potential customers are going to do the same, put yourself in their position. Answer questions that they have in the back of their minds.. for example.. how is this going to benefit me? what method of payment do I use to order? how do I know that this is different from other competitors?
Your sales letter should have all those ingredients, your website navigation should be easy to use and navigate.. Your headlines or titles should give them a reason to be interested in your offer. You should be using this method below.
(AIDS) Attention, Interest, Desire, Sale.
(KISS) Keep, It, Simple, Short.
You don't have to be a online marketing professional, or have the best looking website on the internet..but if you use these simple steps you will have the perfect conversions, clickthroughs, sales and return customers.
