Default Weebly Customization

I have a website in weebly with my own domain purchased through weebly. I'm not a programmer, but have been able to customize my site to a degree. I was wondering if there are good options out there for further customization such as
  • Adding a forum - weebly's is a bit week
  • Using a database
  • Installing a links manager

I'm sure there are other things I am missing. I like the ease of weebly, but am finding places where I want to customize that are beyond my skills. Looking for places with HTML I can copy, etc.

I guess I might be late with the response. But it looks like you need to get familiar with web development. A good place to start is:

Thumbs up

I love weebly for simple five pages or so websites - like I have done with this example site www.newcastlemanandvan.com - it works and is a great way to promote a local business without the extra fuss or confusion of too many add-ons or widgets.

Weebly is a great platform to pump out little sites. Highly recommended.

Well, I think every website builder has its own specific functions. I created my site using Wix and was in the same boat when I started thinking that I was missing something. While looking through one forum I was suggested to check a great article about the website builders, their reviews and niches (http://www.websitebuilderbox.com), so I found out some useful information there. Maybe it will be helpful for you. Good luck!
