Lightbulb 3rd Time Trying!

I've tried making two other introduction posts and for some reason they don't get posted... ??!? I'm not even trying to sell anything! lol

Anyways... I'm a business owner. The business consists of website design, hosting, SEO, and selling things on Amazon.

Sooooo... If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I sell over 13,000 items on Amazon so I know how to operate a seller account. I also know some super good info on schema.org markup I'd be willing to share with you. Especially for Ecommerce stores and local business.

I have a question for all of y'all... How do I get a signature for my account? I see other people with signatures but no matter where I look in my account I can't find an option to add one...

Cheers mates!

lol, your previous post was full of link drops. i recall a post of yours where each letter of a word had a different link. Do you think that could be a reason why?

Signature links are available to those who have posted a few times without violating the forum rules.

Very nice, thanks for playing along. You can now setup a signature file. Click the link "My Settings" to find it. Here's the thing you should know though. We don't allow self promotion or link dropping within your posts. The idea is we hope you share your knowledge with other members. If others want to learn more about your business they can visit the link in your signature file. The rules for the forum are here. If you don't follow the rules, or spam the forum with links, then I have a button I can push to remove your signature link or all of your previous posts. I don't take the time to figure out which posts you spammed in and which ones you didn't. I just remove all of your posts. Takes about 1 second on my end.

I'd actually like to hear more about your experiences selling on amazon. What works? what doesn't? Welcome aboard

As this is a rather broad question perhaps I can offer some rather broad advice. If you do operate a seller account and aren't using FBA (fulfilled by Amazon) shipping, it's important that your dropship company or shipping service has a reliable time table for shipping. Your performance metrics on Amazon are incredibly important and one aspect of those metrics is shipping time. Late shipments will get your seller account suspended and even permanently banned. Make sure you set a shipping time that allows for mistakes and delays!

As far as what works?

Don't charge for shipping. Nobody likes a shipping charge.

Find a hot item and make sure you get the buy box. Remember the zika virus during the summer? I sold a gazillion bat houses because why? Bat's eat mosquitoes, mosquitoes carry zika. Bing bang boom.

Put coupons on your invoices you send to customers who have ordered off Amazon to lead people back to your business website. The fees Amazon charges for every transaction can cut deep into the profit margins of items and this is a way to get around those fees. Be careful because Amazon does not like it, at all. Part of the Amazon seller agreement is to not try to lure any potential customers off of Amazon to your own website. BEWARE.

We are here for sharing knowledge and experience to help the other members not for just link dropping for the sake of direct promotions.
