You know what's funny about this, just in terms of Google wanting to make its search results really high quality? What about a site like wikipedia deciding to put nofollow tags on all the external links? Wouldn't it make sense if Google ignored those sorts of nofollow tags? I mean, I understand that wikipedia did this to suppress the "Editing" of people adding links to sites they own and control... (Er, see the wikipedia page on me for an example of this...) But wouldn't Google produce better results if it did consider those pages that a probably high-trust site like wikipedia links to?
