Default Does Anyone Cook?

I love to cook, and I would like to hear the favorite recipes you love to make.

Chili. Hot but not so much that you can't eat it. The husband cooks. I hate to cook. Too messy, too many pots, etc...

My favorite place for recipes is probably Williams Sonoma. Chicken dumplings = yumm

We have the same reason. I seldom cook but I love to eat. My husband usually do the cooking.

I adore cooking and inventing something new.But my favourites are different kinds of salads, I'm not so unique, I just mix things I like, find some interesting combinations, you know...

2lbs lean ground beef
2 16oz jars pinto beans
1 whole onion
1 green bell pepper
2 cloves garlic
2 fresh whole tomatoes
8 dried chili pods
1 tbs cummin
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
All of the dry ingredients get blended with the chili pods.
All vegetables get chopped and added to meat along with the beans after the meat has browned.
Fill with water just to the top of the meat, then add the dry ingredients. The longer you let is simmer, the hotter it will be.

Have fun. What a mess!

I wish I could learn how to cook! I am culinary challenged and the only dish I can cook is spaghetti. Cooking takes practice and I hope I have the time to do it.
