There is no one single best way. It depends on who your target audience is, where they tend to hang out online and what they expect in the way of social media content.

Given the type of business you have, you may find that Pinterest and Facebook are good bets, but you really need to study your target market and find out where they're spending their time to be sure.

In terms of content, in general you want it to be interesting, attractive and appropriate for the venue. For instance, high quality product photographs for Pinterest, short human-interest stories for Facebook, etc. Again, though, the driving factor is going to be what your target audience wants to consume.

Testing is your friend. Try different things and see what gets the best response, then give them more of that.

There are actually a lot of platforms you can use for your product.
The best ones would be of course Facebook, then Pinterest and Instagram.
Instagram would probably be the most convenient since you can associate your post on Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook. Plus, there are actually a lot of women Instagram users that most likely targets your market. All you have to do is post a picture, put a little description and use the most appropriate hashtags on your posts.

There is no easy way Alice. Buy, you need to follow some simple steps for you to get going. On your website, make sure that your articles are very interesting and informative. You pictures should be clean and elegant. Then distribute your posts and pictures on different social media accounts (you have to create them first of course). After get connected with people on different forums especially those that have the same business type you are in. They are the top people that can help you.

Good luck!

Nothing is easy to make the promotion because there are many ways including social networks.

But if you want to go quickly, I advise you if the moderators allow me to present you this social platform to post articles or products on social media fifty simultaneously.

I use it and have to say I've seen a good improvement in traffic and backlinks to my websites.

if this can help you.

Good luck

Emily

The best way you can promote your business using social media is by useful content. this includes: related images that are interesting. images should be very clean and not flashy to the eyes of the viewers. interesting quotes should be added.

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in social media marketing strategies on the fly - especially as someone who can't afford a marketing team - and I agree with what Torka is saying above. Research and testing are your friends. I've had a lot of luck with online tools that help identify areas where you should be aiming your resources.

As was already mentioned, the key is getting to know your customers better. Great content is important but you should also know what visitors are responding to on your site so you know what works (or so I have been reading!).

I would suggest doing a search for 'online marketing tools' on Google to see what's out there. I've found some great articles with plenty of suggestions this way -- I've been using the trial version of datapine for small businesses to run analytics on my site and have found it insightful so far.

I'll let you know if I find any other tips/apps since I'm knee-deep in articles on the subject.

Happy to be part of the forum.

Best Wishes,
K.

Lots of great responses already. If you can get high quality images of kids using your products, I think those would do really well for you on Facebook, Pinterest & Instagram.

Best of luck!

Laura
