First AdWords. Then tips for AdWords. This information will be VERY useful for people who come across it snooping the forum, and maybe even help people who're familiar with AdWords.

Ref keyword research - very wise!

I highly reccommend a tool called The Permutator to build long tail variations of the keywords you want to use. Including long tail phrases in your pay per click campaig work brilliantly as they are usually cheaper and more targeted.

Hi Felix,

To reduce CPC you have to improve the number of clicks.
1. Concentrate on the keywords where you are getting more number of clicks and conversions for less Cost.

2. Try to reduce minimum bid for the keywords by optimizing your ads.

3. Improve relevancy between keywords, ads and landing page urls.

4. Decrease the bid on less performing keywords which doesn't have conversions and clicks.

I hope this information will help you.....

Vital Tip: Most important thing in researching keywords and phrases is that sometime we forget that you can not find every possible keyphrase which customers are searching. These are very low traffic phrases say for example 1 a day or even just few a month say 10 a month. Now here you need to apply your mind. Consider various adjectives for the product you are selling. e.g. if its some kind of clothing item and softness is something which is present in the item you are selling then worth putting bids for say "red soft [clothing] " (replace selling with what you are selling)
For this you will need to pay very minimum and you will get better conversion in terms of sales.

I'm not trying to 'dampen' your cornflakes in a rude way, I'm just looking to assess the best way to dole out ad budget.

"40% of online revenue comes from search. AdWords appear next to the search results list on Google - they're clickable ads. Google has over 200 million searches a day!"
So impressive sharing! What I need is in your post ! Thanks a lot !
