Default Is shooting your message to blogs "legal"?

I'm sure if I read all the entries on blogs and blogging I would probably find the answer, but THE TIME. I have just started in Internet marketing and have run across a system (Blog Blaster) that says I can send 1,000 of blogs my message about my business. This is done while I am not using my computer.

Is this ethical?, etc.

Thanks for your input.

Sounds like spam to me. I'd avoid that so you don't tarnish the reputation of your business.

Is there legislation that makes spamming blogs a legal issue?

Yes, I agree-- I ban site names or keywords to control blog spam.

Legislation for blog spamming? nope, don't think so - but still a bad idea.

I see this equivalent to search engine submission. I always avoided the "20,000 search engines" submission ads simply because most people can only name the 5 big search engines. How many blogs can you name and do you know how much traffic they get?

Send a message via Skype™ to Mousee

I think that there are 2 main methods to attract visitors – the difficult and the easy one. The difficult one requires from the site owner to write a good content and to do it on a regular basis. This will result in many visitors who will come back and come back.
The easy method includes spamming and other common ways to increase the traffic. But if a person chooses it but a blog has no interesting content he has to do spamming on a regular basis. Because visitors will not return.
It’s a trade-off… To write or to spam… Both variants are legal as I understand but the second is a bad form...

It's definitely spam to send out those comments. And if the blogs you send them to are set up like mine they never make it online anyway since those comments need to be approved and as you can guess I never approve them.

Definitely spam.

Is this something like an RSS submitter? I use something like that to submit my blogs and my customer's blogs to blog directories. That is OK.

But your blog is your own blog - why would you want to submit your blog to other blogs? That sounds a bit more like writing articles than blogging.

And if it is comments - how would the same comment apply to the same blog over and over? Alothough I do get a few comments every week on mine telling me that it is very cognitive and some that would like to exchange links. I just delete these because yes, it is spam.
