Did you get the beta release of Windows 8. Can you please give a little about it?

Like is it good? etc..

Thanks.

I hope Windows 8 will be better than the previous version. Although I have been using W7, I don't like it a lot.

Not that much news out there yet regarding Windows 8. I still can't get over it the way it looks, it just looks so simple to the point that it looks boring to use. But that's just me and I shouldn't make opinions before laying my hands on it.

Also, don't think that this SEO section is the best place to ask for info regarding the new OS. Otherwise, http://betanews.com/2012/03/05/windo...ssions-review/ is quite an interesting read regarding some features that will be available.

Regards.

I'm still using XP, but I think I'll get a new Windows 7 computer before 8 comes out so I don't have to deal with the bugs. From what I've heard, Windows 7 is pretty good. (fingers crossed)

Hello blunderbuss,

Windows 7 is good I recommend you to have it. I wanna try windows 8, but as what other blogs and review about windows 8 , I think I will not want to try it. LOL. Kinda hard to work on it.
But still it would be better if there are some people who will share there experience about it.

If you don't like the new interface on Windows 8, you will have the option of switching back and using a more "traditional" Windows 7 style interface.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the Windows 8 interface, but I'm Old School.

I definitely want to give it a try. I may virtualize a developers preview copy to check it out.

It definitely looks pretty weird, much closer to Windows Phone 7 and somewhat like the new Xbox interface. And although I like how Windows is setup now, if this new look is going to be the future, may as well give it a shot.

It'll be very interesting if this catches on. May shift some people's opinions of Microsoft. Whether its "innovative" or not, I don't know yet; but it certainly looks different.
