Post SEO: Essential To Survival

SEO: Essential to Survival

Companies that rely on the web for sales have two choices. Embrace SEO or don't embrace SEO. And one's not really a viable option....

You cannot talk about having an online business without not taking in consideration SEO optimization. Good point of view in the article.

Default Seo?

I'm mean that are companies on the web who only advertise using pay per click. Some of them could care less about SEO. So you dont have to embrace SEO to survive. But its a smart business investment to optimize your website for the long run...

SEO is a marketing channel. I would never say any marketing channel is essential to survival. Important, yes. Potentially lucrative, yes. Essential...no.

I think any company with the resources to invest should be working on getting organinc search traffic in conjunction with their other means of promotion though.

PPC doesn't always work. Plus, as soon as you stop paying, the money stops coming in also. Organic traffic is much longer lasting and is free after the initial expenses and time to get the site up in the rankings. Another benefit of getting organic traffic is it allows you to optimize the site for optimal revenue before spending money to send even more traffic to the site.

To run any PPC campaign there should a minimum SEO to the site because without proper optimization the quality score will be less and the minimum CPC bid will increase. It will increase the amount on your ad spend..

Exactly. Even PPC will reward you with your SEO efforts with great quality score and in turn will reduce the PPC campaign cost. More profits
