Default Business Pages

Business pages are continually being added to various social networks to promote corporate participation. Foursquare's recent addition allows businesses to gain followers and reach prospects. Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+ also offer business pages.

I love the new 4square business page. Although we have foursquare we haven't seen much from it. Time to test the waters more though.

Which one is the best way to promote an online business directory? Facebook, Linkedin, Google Plus or Foursquare? I have a local search directory aiming at local small businesses.

I would do them all. The more your name is seen the better.

I am glad I found this page about 4square business page. I am a fan of FourSquare but missed the news. Thanks.

Does anyone know the best way to leverage Foursquare?

Has anyone had any marketing success using Foursquare?

I have tried to learn more about this social media and networking tool but have never really been able to extract too much value from it. Am I missing something or was this just a trend that will eventually soon die like MySpace?

I can see the benefit of 4Square when you want people to come to you e.g. Dominos Pizza.

How can it be used sensibly when offering a service that location is not relevant?

e.g. mobile or remote services
