Default Advertising on your vehicle

A lot will depend on your product line/target audience. Selling real estate or providing automotive repairs or service, nearly every vehicle passing is a potential customer.

But, if your product line serves primarily business and industry, it won't necessarily be cost effective if you go for the higher cost "Ad Wrap". But, a simple web address on the back glass could be worth while.

Yeah and I have experienced as a very effective mean of advertising especially in local advertising but now even global companies are adopting this marketing strategy.

There are many ways to advertise effectively on vehicles. From full vinyl wraps, to small vinyl stickers/lettering, or even the simple door magnet. It really depends on your target audience, and how you target them. You can keep it simple, or you can go with huge lettering that is bound to be seen by everyone. It's really up to each person/business as to how they want to advertise.

We do vinyl lettering, graphics and vinyl banners and have done cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, boats, off-road vehicles, and golf carts. Some of it has been for advertising, and others are more interested in just adding graphics. From my personal vehicle, I know that window advertising and lettering on the sides works.

I suppose you could make a full paint job on your vehicle, I've seen Yahoo and Fed Ex car ads and they're certainly eye-catching. I've seen companies in some places offering to paint ads on private vehicles for period of time and then covering the repainting costs afterwards. I think that's pretty clever if you're okay with driving an ad-covered car outside of a race track. (In any case, the ones I saw were pretty cool.)

On the other side of the spectrum, we make car door magnets which I think are great especially if you're using your car as a company and family vehicle. That way, if you're going to some place like a say, a wedding, you could take the ad down.

The fact that you can take them off or put them on whenever you need will certainly prove useful when you need to make changes to the information on the car door magnet. No paint job required.

I tried car advertising on my SUV for a month but could not see a real difference in traffic to my website. The car magnets where huge, on both sides and on the back window with a catchy domain, hardly any traffic or resulting in new customers. I was a little bit disappointed. Magnets are now laying in the garage catching dust

Default Signwriting

The thing is, with all signwriting, this is NOT a "call to action media" but is a "branding solution".
The more you get seen the more you get known so in effect it is very effective. I get it all the time by people I speak to in business "we see you everywhere" or the classic " we see Savannah around everywhere, is that you?"

So I am branding myself correctly, so in reply to the magnets on the garage floor gathering dust.... you are wasting quality branding hours.

As far as signwriting goes, make sure your logo is prominent.

Well, I agree that all depend on the business, but I remember the case when a radio channes start advertising company from the van's advertising and they succeeded really succeeded so it can help!
