It depends on you. If it fits your niche, then whatever you can find should be suitable. Don't go for too generic terms. Be sure that the keywords are what you are targeting. I know there are generic terms that have high clicks or views, and it's very tempting to get them. But you should consider the competition. It's tough to compete for keywords with very high competition. What you can do is start with the long tail keys which may not have that too high of a competition.

Long-tail keywords were once effective, before Google used semantic analysis.
Leverage medium-sized keywords and add more LSI keywords.

It is important to understand that they still have some benefits.

Using long tail keywords is the best way to target users specifically with low competition in the field and will establish in different related target keywords.

I would like you to a recommendation to use always long tail keywords if you want to get traffic to your website as soon as. The short keywords will take more time because it's always competitive.

Hey,
IMO, use the long tail keywords for the major ranking effect of keyword and use the google keyword planner tool for the keywords research, here you can easily search the long tail keywords with keyword volume, competition.
