Unhappy Financial Accounting Software With Recurring Invoices?

Hi,

Anyone know of any good accounting software that allows for recurring invoices i.e monthly invoices sent by email?

Currently, I have office accounting at the moment.

You should consider automating the payments - then you wouldn't have to send the invoices. You'd save time and money. That's what we do for our clients and there is no ongoing cost for the service.

If your business is online you could also consider PayPal if you aren't doing thousands of transactions per month. Recurring payments is one of their new things, but there are a couple of things to consider there.

Hope this helps.

If it's not too late, I'd love to know whether you found a solution in the end?

I work in credit control and recurring invoices and payments, when done well, can be a real lifesaver.

Our accounts system is a little antiquated & it would make for a lot less work if invoices could be created and emailed automatically on a regular basis. Has anyone had any success with anything like this?

Have you looked into Intuit (quickbooks). Can do this both on your system or in the clouds - making it easier to run your business from anywhere.

Or, look for the many open source products out there - most are free.

I don't have it myself but I've been doing a little reading up on decent accoutancy software and it comes on recommendation from a friend.

Iris Chorus

I do use their payroll software (Iris Payroll Business),and if that's anything to go by then this should be ok. I am absolutely keen on keeping everything 'In House' and under my watch (as I'm a small operation). Have you considered any other companies with bookkeeping software? I am on the lookout as I said. Maybe try out some free trials?

Let me know how you get on anyway

And in fact yes, as Phanio suggests - if you can find something for free than this is best!!

Sometimes there are industry specific accounting programs that are nice. What is you industry? For example for non profits, I'd use www.socialsoultions.com -> eto money.

You should use Quickbook. I'm using Quickbook as my accounting software. I've found that it is pretty easy to learn and manage. It's a lot like just balancing your checkbook.

Make out a list of many software and then start picking out the best of them all. And for the creation of your list this forum and whole web-world would definitely help you a lot..
