If you are wanting to avoid having big long capture page names that end with ?yourusername or userada; or any other ugly headline there are a couple of ways you can do it.
If you go to bitly.com you can have a link that directs to your site, and can look decent for the viewer.
It will take it to the ugly looking link, but when they first see it they don't have to enter it.
Another option is that if you have your own domain name, you can create a subdirectory and create a redirect page.
An example here would be
and upload a file named index.php.
The code in it will be this:

when you then direct people to http//your domain/folder it will then automatically redirect to the destination site.
It won't actually mask the url destination, but it will save them the necessity of typing a log url.
