Give it a go.

As a side benefit I have noticed since the last Google update in May, every time I do a new blog post, about 2 days later the home page goes up a few spots in the search results which lasts for a few days. I find weekly posting is very manageable.

It's interesting because there was a time when so many people were looking to lead generation as a way to measure social media ROI, but that focus is starting to shift to other things like brand awareness and customer service. Great stuff, Torka! Thanks for sharing.

Every social networking site has it's own use for your site to be popular. Managing it well and updating daily is the best thing you can do to be able to reach your market well.

I personally believe it is not the social networking site, but it is the people, who you get connected to at those sites, which work for an individual. Find the right people and even a mediocre campaign will produce amazing results for you.

Google + is excellent to find professionals and consumers who are looking for your services. But apart from this you must have accounts on other social media like facebook, google +, twitter for the better online presence.

You should at least try. Many companies have gained a lot in terms of image and transparency after joining the social media world and that's a big plus that in time can generate leads if managed appropriately. And even if Google+ doesn't have so much traffic, it's still there to help and you never know where social media will go some years from now.

All the best!

Of course it does. In fact, i just can't stand G and all of their algorythm changes it's so pathetic !

In fact i wonder if they are doing this on purpose, which is make sure it's only "friends" and big boys getting on first page so you need to buy adwords.

Have you noticed that great domain names, aged etc... don't even get listed anymore ?
It's youtube vidz and stuff like that
