Build a website or a blog that provides valuable information for people.

Build an audience for your blog by offering real value to people. That means giving away infromation that these people are actually seeking.

Get them to subscribe to your posts or opt into an email program.

Gain their trust in every manner possible by always telling the truth and going out of your way to help them in their pursuits.

Provide honest advice on products (affiliate products) that would benefit them. Only vouch for a product if the product is actually worth it.

They will buy. They will be happy that they bought it. You will get to sell them more products that come out in the future. They will buy again because you told them the truth the last time.

Hi!

I don't see a single post on this thread that is not accurate and very important. I would like to add some valuable things I have learned.

First, most people think of monetization as a primary factor when setting up a site. While this is important, jumping straight to the $$$ is one reason many people fail. Why? Because if all you offer are "things for sale," etc., most visitors are turned off by that. They end up bouncing out of your site. Using PPC to drive traffic with lots of bounces, and you can wind up broke and frustrated.

Next, realize that you aren't going to sell every person who lands on your site. Although you can always improve your content and increase conversion rates, you most likely won't get a one-for-one conversion on every visitor. Therefore to make a profit, you must generate lots of free traffic that attracts highly targeted visitors.

To do this, choose a niche you enjoy. Research it looking for visitor demand and keywords associated with that niche. Then research affiliate products and other related monetization options. Make sure the topic is profitable. If possible, put a unique spin on the topic that minimizes competition while providing lots of high-demand content potential.

Then develop lots of high-quality, original content pages supplying the information visitors are looking for as found in your research. This will make people like you and as they follow along with updates to your site, etc., they will grow to trust you. Other sites will also like your high-quality content and will begin to link to you all on their own.

As your traffic builds, carefully select high-quality products your visitors need and weave those products into your site.

Your visitors will come to your site for the high quality information, then because you have supplied such an abundant of high quality, they like you, they become open and warm to your selling suggestions.

When you get to this point, you can then start testing your sales pages to find out what converts best.

Now that is a very brief summary of the process, but it is an overview of how you can build an ever-growing income-generating business that works for you 24/7. There's a free course you can do that can be found by Googling "Affiliate Masters Course." It lays it out step-by-step. And with this process, you donít have to limit yourself to only affiliate products. You could diversify monetization to include Adsense, lead generation, and much more. With free, ever-growing targeted traffic, your monetization options increase markedly!

Good luck and hope that helps!

9 out 10 people still do not know what affiliate marketing is to them.

If you ask people in public, they have no Idea there are links for affiliate marketing on homepages.

Yes, statistically, they buy from Affiliates, but they really don't have a clue.

Well, to start affiliate marketing, you might want to help others see it for what it is. A money opportunity. That's why there is so much help out there.

Better yet, teach 80% affilites who don't make money, how to move into the 20% bracket, that do.

Put a sales letter online, and add a squeeze page to it.

Then, email your people.

If you need traffic (or viewers), you can take a look at my system's link below.

Go where there is big-need, go with the flo.

I think that the best way of affilliated marketing is that you must want to meet the customer and get the idea from him and after that trying to solve the all problem of user and customer. And you must want to cooperative with each other among all of merchant and shopkeeper.

There is no right or wrong answer here really. Hard to tell because a lot of people have started differently and worked out pretty well.

You need to start a plan, make a website, find a market where there is less competition, look for trustworthy affiliates, then keep working on it with good products that you know is GOOD.
