Outsourcing does get a bad reputation for some of the mediocre writers in a lot of the platforms.

But, once you are able to do it well and provided you've outsourced to the right person (like what the article is suggesting), it definitely helps a lot in the content production.

Great blog post!!!
I'm not sure about the title though.
This requires some extensive writing of e-mails, posting jobs and correspondence with freelancers which all could take days and total well over a single word. How much time did this take and how much did it cost? Or does this not apply to the post we read? After reading, I expected it to be videos or a series of videos.

On a more positive note, sometimes a video is much more effective than composition alone. I believe the search engines heavily favor visual content as well. If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many is a 7 minute video worth?

How can you apply this type of marketing to the content you cover? It won't likely apply to every post, but It could be just what you've been missing on some. Write down what your expectations are, and afterwards measure the results. You might try a performance test on an older and popular post (you should have some metrics to compare), repurposing the content with videos.

Thanks, Dan!

Fantastic points you've mentioned there too.

The "without the word" on the title though refers to the actual drafting of the content. But, it's true. You actually still need to 'write' words to hire freelancers, send emails, etc.

Also, I totally agree with the video. Readers stick to the page especially when the video is engaging.

If there's a way to incorporate the 7-minute video you created to the article, then that would be better.

If you use it for link building - of course. but if you should develop the correct content strategy - you shouldn't outsource the content writing as you should have your own writer which specialized in you project area. Otherwise, your content will be not specific for your niche and the articles will be watery and useless. In the another case you should write the detailed task by yourself instead of giving it to another incompetent.

You can still technically 'outsource' to a writer in a similar niche though. So, for instance you are writing about content marketing. You can hire someone who had successful articles in the space.

Or, just get someone who could work for you permanently as a content creator -- even if they are from the other side of the world.
