Default How Unique Is Your Business?

Great article and gives more reason to share about ups and downs in this forum.

"Small businesses often struggle with the same issues, and while its important to establish your own policies, do not be afraid to talk to and learn from other small business owners."

Almost all small businesses are similar to each other and not unique. Most people want to follow what everyone else is doing instead of taking calculated risks. Here are just a few ways to make your business uinique.
1. Hold special events
2. Guarantees stronger than the competition
3. Liberal refund policy
4. Send Free $5 Gift certificate to targeted customers for your store

For example, most owners worry about the few people who would take advantage of their guarantee or refund policy, instead of all the extra profit. It removes the risk from the customer and encourages them to spend money.

Good point. If only Small Business owners could understand that they have so many problems the same and that they could learn from others, and NOT reinvent the wheel!! The answers to being successful, and information on all the issues that need to be followed up in a balanced way are everywhere.
