I am a female business owner from Oklahoma. My shop, Unlabeled apparel, is both online and brick & mortar. We will be celebrating our 1 year in business next month...hooray!
My first year in business has been a roller coaster ride. People always ask, 'How's business?' and I always respond, 'Depends what day you ask me on' and of course, I smile in good humor. The truth is, business is an adventure, that is partly why we embark on our own after all, right?
About the shop: Unlabeled is a boutique atmosphere offering clothing, accessories, and art for both men and women. Our thing around here is local; all of our accessories and art work, plus lots of our t-shirts are made in Oklahoma. If it isn't made in Oklahoma, it is likely Made in the USA or Fair Trade. We try to buy with these 3 stipulations in mind although not everything falls into those categories. Our demographic is 18-35 and everything in the shop is under $100 (excludes art).
I joined this forum to exchange ideas on gaining traffic and to develop my online shop. I learn something new every day which is what I love about owning my own store.
