Amir, have you joined mybloglog, blogcatalog, technorati, blogengage? there are several sites out there, you can submit your posts.

Another one is entrecard, its an advertising program for blogs and bloggers, I posted a thread on here about it, under blogging. It gets you exposure!

SDK1988 makes a good point about commercial blogs and wordpress. On the other hand, you could always instal it on your own site - which is perhaps better in terms of SEO anyway, so I'm told.

Here's an article that I wrote a while back for a previous employer that may help you wrap your head around the topic...

I think Blog Marketing is same with Article marketing, when you're promoting a site.. if there's a lot of visitors then maybe there's big possibility for income.. I'm not even sure what I am talking about, you only said business.. what kind is it? web?

Blogs are absolutely one of the best ways to increase traffic AND get higher rankings for search terms. They are perfect for catching long tail searches and any business web site will befit from adding a blog.

From my experience the blog is just another way of getting the word out there about your business. Unlike our business website the blog is updated more often but you have to make sure that it never takes away from your company website but is used more as a tool to learn a little bit more about the company and the people who run it.

Default Your blog domain matter

if you are thinking about starting a blog for your business and driving traffics to your site, you may want to consider hosting your blog as a subdomain to your main site. An example would be "blog.mybusiness.com"...or something like that....

Any traffics from from the SEs will funnel it to your main business URL.

Just my thoughts....

Cheers
