Default How To Drive Customers To Your Website

You need important "need to know" information regarding the content of your website, for example:

Power Tools:

How to use them safely
Drilling the correct diameter holes for screws
Choosing the correct cutting and grinding disks
Tightening torques on bolts and nuts

If you look at these titles - it might be confusing - but it relates to an engineer and makes sense.

There are many times when engineers are looking for information but the information is not easily available - but can be easily found on your website.

Because you have an abundance of knowledge on your website related to all the products the engineer needs - he is going to recommend your site to others i.e.viral marketing.

I am talking from experience and know of someone who did exactly this and has made millions. He had 66,000 product 35,000 pictures plus a technical library of over 150 pages of technical information for engineers and laymen.

These products were automatically linked to suppliers who delivered the orders direct.

One of the first orders from his website was placed by an engineer from Madagascar. The value of the order was U S $ 75,000

His secret was HIS SYSTEMS which produced the most with the least amount of effort and cost.

5 years ago he sold out and bought a yacht and sails 6 months of the year and travels the rest of the year.

The first-step to take is to make your business indexed on search-engines. It's a free-service and can compel many people to your website. Since there is so-much opposition, it's significant to use the right keywords, in order that your company will come-up in the search. Use as numerous pertinent keywords as possible.

There are many tools to drive people to your site. You need a mix of good SEO and keywording (I think that is what Gordon was getting at), design and site pull factor, as well as social media advertisement, being put in directories, participating in forums that pertain to your business, creating backlinks, traditional advertisement, word of mouth, referrals..... want me to continue!

It is also important to hit your target audience. In Gordon's example with powertools, you may see 1,000 hits on the site per day but what if 900 were people who do not want tools and simply mix the keywords up? Also important to review to see if people are going past your homepage or if they are seeing your homepage and then just not leaving. All important factors.

The Social media optimization also drive customers to your website. Seo has big hand in increase the traffic and there are many more ways to drive customers to your website through online marketing. I agree with your information also.

Good quality content is always important but don't forget about sharing that content. Make sure you're using social bookmarking sites as well as social media to help get the word out.

Business listing and web 2.0 is very good option for that. If you can do it correctly you will get some positive result.
