Default How Long For PPC Ads To Work?

I experimented with google adwords last fall with no great effect. I realize that one of my mistakes was being too broad, so I just created some more specific ads.

How long should I let them run before I decide to pull them/make corrections? I was thinking wait a week, then tweak if necessary?

Well, that depends what you are advertising and your bid and many other factors, I suggest when you are running Adwords, you keep in track of the analysis each week even everyday to see the changes of clicks and the cost, and then make adjustment. And even you can keep an eye on whether there is froud clicks, if so you can charge back.

I am not a huge fan of PPC... but I would give it a bit of time.

Also, I'd make sure that I was using Google ConversionTracking to get some quantifiable sense of whether clicks were converting to sales..
