David Wallace's Introduction
Wow, I get to do the very first post here? Awesome - what a priveledge.
My name is David Wallace and I own SearchRank, a search engine optimization and marketing company as well as Higher Dimensions Internet Group, a web design firm.
I am currently 37 years of age, very happily married to my wife, Irma, of 13 years and I have three children (two girls and a boy). My two main interests outside of the SEO world are music in that I alternate between acoustic and electric guitars, the bass guitar and singing (lead worship) for my local church and roller coasters. I actually have a buddy who writes for Park World magazine so we go on these roller coaster trips where we are treated like media and get in for free, get walked on rides, etc. Along with coasters, I'm a big Disneyland fan as well and try to get over there as often as I can.
I started High Dimensions Internet Group in 1997 as a web design company. Along with our design services, we would submit sites to search engines as well as make sure they were optimized. We became quite successful at positioning sites in search engines and decided to launch a separate brand so SearchRank was birthed somewhere in the beginning of the year 2000.
Today I continue to run both companies and am primarily involved in the SEO strategy for each of our clients. I also enjoy writing periodically and seeing those articles published on a variety of popular SEO resource sites including Search Engine Guide, WebPro News and SearchDay to name a few! Besides moderating here, I am currently a moderator at Jill Whalen's High Rankings Forum, Search Engine Watch and SEOPros.org Member forum.
I am very glad to be here as I have been a long time reader and subcriber to Robert Clough's search engine news. He is a great guy and I am happy that he has started this forum related to small business.
