Hi,

Are you asking how to you get your business to the top of Google's Top Ten Pack in the organic search?

If so here are two tutorials:

Google Local Maps Search Engine Optimization (from 2009)

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) - Optimization For Local Businesses (from 2010, updated version)

Hope this helps if this is what you are asking.

Jeff

My article on the Google Local Business Center explains how to get your business to show up in Google Maps and Google Earth.

I find that your choice of categories has a big influence on your position in results.

Your picking a very competitive market. It may be hard to get to the top. Look at those related searches as they may be easier to target. i.e find more of a niche phrase that matches your hotel, and target it with your copy and categorisation.

To Add business in the Google Map results follow following steps:

1. Go to http://maps.google.com/
2. On Left Menu Area you can see the Link "Put your business on Google Maps"
Click on this link
3. Click on Add new listing Link
4. Enter your business information in the form such as (Business Name,
Address, Phone etc)
5. Now Google will provide you option to verification of Listing, That verification could be by Phone Or Letter. Once verification have been completed your website will appearing in the Google Maps.

Regards,
Jeff

Also, if the area is quite competitive, it is important to have your company website associated with the site. The more respect google shows for your website (the better they rank it), the better you local business listing will do.

This is just one of many criteria Google uses to rank the business listings.

It's easy. Just navigate to the following URL register and fill out the information.
