Default Web Link Directory Submission Questions!

Here, I would like to raise some questions on how to increase web link directory submission efficiency and mutually beneficial practice exchange. What incoming link building techniques do you use in practice? Do you prefer manual or automatic submission? What directories do you submit websites to? Paid or free and why? As for me, I suggest the special attention should be paid on description when submitting website to directories! Different website descriptions should be used for each directory. Donít use the same description for several directories! Search engines can accept it as duplicate content and incoming link will have no value! For this reason I do manual submission only. Also I think it is expedient to perform directory on regular basis! If you can add something or share your practical experience are welcome to go on this post!

The only directory I've ever submitted to that seemed to help with rank is DMOZ...and they change the description of the site based on the editor's whim.

I manually submit my site to free directories. Here's the link where I submit my websites http://www.directorycritic.com/. Paid or not it's the same backlink, it's just that paid submissions approved fast.

Manual submission is still my preference of choice, because you can choose and control what information you are going to send. Besides when submitting to directories you still need to type in captchas for verification. There are tons of ways to create back links for your website, article submission is still the best and far more superior than directory submission.

There are lot of tips and techniques to do link building, few of them are directory submission, article submission, SMO and many more.. active participation in related topics, discussions and creating wiki pages on related topics will help to get some effective back links to your website...

A manual directory submission with different title and description will always preferable.

it seems like the company that you hired weren't effective in link building, most directories always moderates submission first so if they think that it was a lousy entry they just trash it out, so I can say that starting with social bookmarking sites is much preferable than directories, you can read articles from search engines sites why most directories nowadays are devalued..

I think the way links are being submitted now has already bored business people.
Submissions should be fast and efficient and directory should use special technologies to control the process and promote itself on the web.

I am doing directory submission in quality directory so it will give quality backlinks. Never go for automated as manual submission is perfect way to get quality backlinks. Free and paid both can help.
