It depends if you have collateral for the loan. Do you have any equity?

More and more alternative lenders are starting to look at cashflow and other metrics rather than just a "business plan" and "time in business" to make decisions. Banks can be helpful, but one of these alternatives might make even more sense for a lot of businesses.

Banks do not underwrite start up business loans - period. Banks want to get repaid and you have to demonstrate - based on past results - how you can repay that debt - start ups can't do that. Plus, there are no government grants or any grants for that matter to fund a for-profit business - new or old business.
You have to find ways to self fund your company using any and all bootstrapping methods that you can. Then, once your business is up and running and generating sustainable revenue - then your business can qualify for a host of financing alternatives including bank loans.

Post Yes,but...

Yes,they do.However,a high credit score is a must. And the rate might not be that too much enticing either. You could turn to financial lending institutions but always go to the ESTABLISHED ones.Do your research well because some might just go under with your collateral that's much much more valuable than the funds advanced.Or you could opt for another source of funding altogether-crowd-funding.
