Nop! I am using the latest version of IE. I am using IE8 and i am very much satisfied with its performance. I don't want to go for older version.

No, I am using Firefox 3.5 and Chrome. Is IE 7 any good? I think IE has a lot of bugs that needs to be fixed.

Hmn, I find IE7 annoying. Because from time to time, it simply will not load any webpages, it just stalls and looking at the progress bar crawl forward makes me think the bar is just a fake progress bar.

Obviously by using an other web browser, it shows that there is nothing wrong with either the webpages or my internet connection.

I prefer to use opera 9.25 btw, I really enjoy my customization, placing bookmarks/folders on the menu and using custom mouse gestures.

I have been using firefox for a long time now and I like it because of the add-ons you can get. But the last couple of months I have been having trouble with it crashing all of the time, like 4-6 times a day. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.

Interesting thread.

For speed and reliability I always recommend Firefox to clients. IE 7 and 8 is way too slow, subject to freezing and still a favourite browser for budding virus and malware writers to attack.

dpdumas642, there are some users who have reported this. Because, Firefox has so many plugins that request frequent updating, Firefox seems to have in increasingly high "nagware" factor. For example, plugs-ins that need frequent updating e.g. "XYZ plug-in for your Mozilla Firefox needs to update etc." These can cause instability. I recommend you uninstall all non-essential plug-ins.

Thanks for the tip I am going to try uninstalling some of the add-ons I don't use.

I have been very devoted to my IE browser for years. But now I'm using Mozilla Firefox, its much faster and it works really well for me.

I haven't used my IE browser for a while now.
