My advice is find a private lender or broker. The banks have a very slow and strict underwriting process. By the time a bank even gives you an approval or decline you could have already received funds. I have been funding businesses for a very long time. I have bank lenders and private lenders and I can tell you a lot of the private lenders are doing bank paper very close to bank rates in half the time.

The key to getting a loan is getting your financials in order and keeping your business bank account positive and plump with as much cash as you can. Three months of good bank statements go a long way in the private funding world.

Default Invoice financing

Has anyone ever tried invoice financing? I'm thinking of trying it -- probably a community bank or online -- but not sure if the rates are competitive and safe. So far seems like a good option but want to hear about first hand experience before trying it.

Thanks!

Bank procedure requires a lot of time and paper-work. Private lenders is the better option.
