Default Adsense

Adsense is easy to install but hard to make real money with you only get a few cents for every 1,000 or more impressions so you need 100,000's of visitors to make big money.

This is where the problem lies if you have a small site, I mean a few 100's of pages you need to dominate the search results to be able to get anything like enough visitors to make money. A large site with 10,000 of pages stands a much better chance but creating good quality content on that sort of industrial scale is another big challenge.

Its good but hard work ))

Default Not so easy.

Just from looking around, it dosn't seem that easy. You would have to generate a lot of followers to start making real money, and to do that would take a lot of work. I guess it depends on what your plans are for the website. If your looking to replace your regular job with adsense revenue, that wont happen anytime soon.

Well, to be honest, not completely 100%. I'd encourage anyone, at this time, to consider having multiple streams of revenue coming in. Adsense can provide earnings, substantial sometimes, but how else can you earn money in addition to adsense? Affiliate marketing, sales, services. There are ways if someone has an expertise and ultimately an audience that is valued by advertisers.

Default Banner

To be fair Banner and in-text links can work well as a compliment to Adsense.

I had some success running Adsense + Banners all at the same time, but that was before Google Panda so I am not sure that a page heavy with ads is capable of performing well anymore.

"Two myths currently limit our collective imagination: the myth that advertising is the only possible business model for online companies, and the myth that itís too late to change the way platforms operate. On both points, we need to be a little more creative." Source: https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...on-open-letter
