The first thing to consider is your business plan. I attended a seminar last time and the guest speaker said, in going into online business, ask yourself if you have something to "sell". Whether it is product or services. So that you can make a good decision with regards to your business.

Excellent advice. Developing a marketing strategy is a key piece of a business plan, and the most critical component for a new internet business. It is just so easy to lose focus, that having a strategy keeps you on track.

Take a look at this article which provides nine easy steps to write a marketing strategy that will drive business results.

Everything starts at the drawing board. Although I strongly believe in learning by doing so if you think you have it in you enough, take baby steps until the time comes when it's worth leaving your 9-5.

Shopping Cart Software without the expensive price tag.

thank you for that great advice and just to add up that you need to be knowledgeable and ask advice from the people who had been successful in doing that field

Very well explained. I just wanna add something. Sometimes people are so afraid to try out new things because they don't want to fail. I never stop learning and i find ways to learn. You are right. We can get learning materials online whether its free of not. I do buy training videos online. For me it is a good investment. The fact is, we need these materials in order for us to learn how to run our own business so why not try it?

Great info, thanks for sharing. However, I would change the second mistake with the one provided by ernest1918. Not having a business plan is a huge gap indeed.
Also, I'm not sure if buying products of learning is profitable. In most cases, there's plenty of free info out there that you can benefit from, especially if you're at the beginning of the process. And if you're smart and intuitive, you'll know your way through.

Many people give up quickly because the results have not appeared. Suppose a new post the article once, then immediately want a blog make money. follow-up once, then never do it again. Hopefully this never happens to you.

Solution: try again, again, again and again.
Never give up! continue to post consistent.

I totally agrees on "the third". Never give up. Always never give up. Try to learn from your mistakes.
