isn't Etsy different to Ebay? It's a bit more..like an actual store, I feel!

Default Depending upon what you are selling

I will add OLX.com but it depends upon what are you trying to sell. You can Google it yourself, there will be a long list of such online selling websites.

I will list 2 others..if anyone knows any other places please add to the list and give a little discription if possible.

1. ioffer.com no listing fees however, takes a percentage of sales..
2. ebid.net no listing fees, but takes a small portion of sales, unless you upgrade..a little hard to get around
Hi Skatersollie

There are many out there but I get the impression you consider the nominal amount they take from sales as a problem where as you should see it as an investment especially if you wouldn't have got that customer without the platforms exposure anyway.

I am part of a platform that has almost 3.5 million members and over 1 million marketers who are actively encouraged to buy or promote what's on it.

TripleClicks

At the end of the day you just go with what makes you feel comfortable. but if you are looking for completely free that could effect the quality of the service you get because ultimately that's how they make a living...just a thought.

I read this entire post and find the comments and ideas very helpful.
I want to offer my site as a great alternative to the others.
Soonerbillz Trading Post
The site sales marketing model is via membership: with the following:

Free registration
No fees for buyers
Low cost monthly sellers memberships
No final value fees
No commission fees
.25 cent "Featured Listing" fee
Image listing capability
Unlimited HTML listing creation
Auction, Buy it Now or Proxy sale capability
Paypal enabled
Internal credit system

After years of using ebay I created this site where buyers and sellers can do business safely without the "Big Brother" attitude hammering down on you!

Our motto! A basic online auction that won't rip you off!

Check it out and see if it works for you!

Thank you...
I still have a long way to go and work every day trying to improve it. As time goes on and people start using it more I hope to diversify the market reach and allow international sales and add a more robust shipping program.

Hi there,

Try with www.Etsy.com and www.aliexpress.com. You may like http://www.ebuyersreviewed.com - since you can report or screen your buyers there.

Good luck,
Christina

You can try with Amazon/rakuten/aliexpress/ioffer, these are all the best place to sell your products. But you need to know their rules well
