Default Can an Introvert Be a Social Media Rock Star?

I'm going to take the opposite tack here and suggest that it was actually nerdy introverts who pioneered social media and the internet as a virtual communication platform.
The same kid who in high school couldn't look a girl in the eyes was the guy who made waves online as a member of a hundred different online communities.
I say it's the PERFECT job for an introvert, because they can live the entire career from behind the safety of a computer screen.
Just a few thoughts,
