Default New Article - Adding Value to AdWords Advertising

Full text: http://www.searchengineguide.com/hedger/003184.html

Some snippets:

"...Google has grown concerned about the publics' confidence in the AdWords/AdSense model. Reports of increasing click-fraud and decreasing ROIs have advertisers looking for other options and competitors are emerging from all directions."

"Sometime soon, Google is going to announce the release of an application-programming interface (API) that will allow advertisers or their third-party representatives control over the delivery, timing, geographic distribution and costs of AdWords advertising."

So...what do you think? Are you a current AdWords advertising that is considering moving some or all of your PPC business elsewhere? Why or Why not?

Are you looking forward to the release of an API, or do you worry that it will simply enable the "button pushers" to move even further ahead of you by programming tools that can adjust PPC campaigns more quickly than a human can...or, maybe you ARE a button pusher and you're ready and rearing to go...

Don't know if this is planned, but my number one wish for AdSense/AdWords is that Google gives advertisers the ability to choose which sites their ads do and don't appear on.

The benefit for advertisers is obvious.

As a publisher, I know if Google gives advertisers this control, our site's earnings will go through the roof. The curtain will be pulled back on sites that are great on delivering clicks but not conversions. Advertisers will dump them and increase bidding on sites that deliver actual customers.

I think almost every publisher of a quality site will benefit if this change is made.

I have to tell you, I don't have a clue as to what you folks are talking about. I think I'm in way over my head.

Well, you've certainly come to the right place to figure it all out! Hang around and read for a bit, it will start to swim into focus for you. It did for me.

I hope this all comes to fruition. I think it would be great for advertisers and it will improve content and site structure on the sites that we do advertise on eliminating click fraud and junk pages filling up the serps with pages that serve only to gain profit from adsense.
