Default New Article - Real Small Business, Real Big Ideas - Carrie D. Mader Project Part 4

Full Text: http://www.searchengineguide.com/laycock/008323.html

A Snippet:

Today, I'll be focusing in on the start of keyword research and on the changes that we needed to make to Carrie's Google AdWords account. I'll also touch a bit on the ongoing difficulties of getting good ROI tracking in place when you're working with an out-of-the-box shopping cart system like MIVA.

Well either the readers are

1) bored to death
2) too shocked to post about what a dolt I was about how google works now
3) out barbecuing
4) too traumatized by the last skirmish to post

I vote #2. Don't worry, I can take it... like I told Jennifer I am on top of fall fashion trends. I can't be on top of everything.

LOL...I'd go with the option of "it's the holiday weekend" and "besides, it hasn't gone out in the weekly yet."

I have to tell you that I am loving this series. As an online business owner myself who is in the process of re-evaluating my own company and how I have been marketing it, I find this series invaluable. What fun it must be to be a "test project". Carrie, I don't think you are a dolt at all for not having a better understanding of Google's AdSense. I have been thinking about creating my own campaigns for about a year now, but it all seems overwhelming. I need someone to sit down with me and teach me what I need to know about creating and running successful campaigns.

I can't wait until the next edition of this series.

Thanks for sharing.

Naw, the 'dolt' thing certainly does not apply. Carrie you'd be surprised to find out what people don't know, in fact search engine forums are filled with SEOs that are still learning and I'll put myself right into that same category. It's all a process and nobody knows it all (except Google, of course!)

Default Any chance

of an end of year round up?

I know you've been kind of busy Jenn (lol) but it would be good to hear how things have been going for Carrie.

Thanks

Jax
