its depends on your location base because if want to do SEO only for India then 2 resource enough or if your doing SEO for local cities like Bangalore mumbai, Delhi etc.. you need 3 to 4 resources. if your targeting USA and UK means at least you required 5 to 6 resources because eCommerce is have more competition.

Yes, i'm agreed with johnniewalk. If you are targetting local based or area based targeting then you required fewer resources, But you are targetting global exposer then you must be required a lot of resources.

Optimizing an E-Commerce website is little difficult, because of the competition, and lots of web pages. But, If you do it properly just like Flipkart and Amazon you can secure multiple ranking position in SERP.

Their is nothing different in doing SEO for dynamic website compared to static website. One just need to follow Google guidelines.

Optimizing an eCommerce website will depend on the site's range of products and target whether if it is locally or globally. Because you need to rank for every product pages of your site to reach your target users.

It would depend on the location you're targetting. Local ones require fewer resources compared to global ones.
