Default What Is The Best Time To Post Articles In Social Media

Social media marketing is no longer a “nice to have” tool for small businesses. If you are consciously forgoing a presence on social media, you could be leaving growth and therefore thousands of dollars in revenue on the table.

If you are motivated to implement a social media strategy but want to first experiment yourself before hiring a freelance account manager, there are guides to help beginners know where to start. If you’re looking to build a presence for your business, check out the infographic below as a primer to social media marketing.

Interesting numbers, however, one question that came to my mind. Does different target groups use their social media the same way?

I.e, could some businesses profit from utilizing other times when their specific target group is most active?

The best times are between 1 p.m.–3 p.m. on the optimal days. Anytime between 9 a.m.–3 p.m. are peak times of Twitter use. Huffington Post: For maximum retweets, post at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. The best days to post for B2B organizations is Monday–Friday, and for B2C it's the weekends and Wednesdays.

For me, social media marketing is still a nice tool to have for any business. Most social media sites are free, to begin with, all you have to do is invest a few hours of your day to manage it. Not all businesses can afford paid marketing efforts, that's why smaller businesses opt to do their marketing efforts on anything that can save them cost. That's why I don't think that it'll be a waste of efforts if you choose to continue with social media marketing.

You need to understand first the behavior of your target audience in social media so that you can set a calendar of articles in which is appropriate for your target users and then will engage well.
