In terms of promotions for your arts business you can use different platforms like forum sites, blog sites, and other active online communities that are related to your field.

My first question would be what do you do now and what is your goal?

Find websites related to your business. Posting on all the websites about your business gives you a diversified backlinks not traffic and revenue.

of course it helps to increase your search engine rankings. but beating the competition in the real world is little tough then you think. So my advice for you is to concentrate on building local profiles.

List your business on all the local business directories and business listings.

You can use my tool to know where your website is listed now? http://www.metricbuzz.com/check-loca...nd-submission/

Look at what worked - try to do more of that, in less time, with less effort and for less money. Look at what didn't work - do less of that. Look at your competitors - find out what they are doing better than you and do it better than them. Find out what they are doing wrong and never do that. Listen to your customers - the angry ones - critical feedback is gold. Optimize your internal processes - how can you leverage technology and other people to squeeze more out of every day. Most of all - keep solving problems with undeniable value. Set measurable goals, stay accountable and don't get lazy. If you do have a lazy day, deem it a lazy day and don't do any work at all. Roll around in your sloth and enjoy it until you feel guilty for neglecting your business http://www.whereorg.com/. Come back with a fury and dominate. One day at a time.

Hi, Ranjani!

I'd suggest for you to advertise your art business through social media platforms. Social media users nowadays are more engaged to posts that have great visuals like a video or an image. Instagram might work best for your business since it's a platform that is focused on photo and video sharing. Take advantage of using hashtags too to find your target market.

Do SEO as well as PPC for your business. That would be a great option for you.

I had a client before she was an artist. Find websites related to your niche, like mentioned above forum, blogs, communities share your art works sample there. You can also implement an image submission to high photo sharing sites like pinterest, flicker devian art, etc.

You can also promote your artwork in your local community like sponsoring an event.
