Default Google Webmaster Devaluate My Site Links?

Hi i face serious problems nowadays with the recent Google algorithm update.

Last week i checked my site links in Google webmaster tools, it was around 1,92,000 backlinks. Two days back i checked it shows 52,000 backlinks and now today morning i again checked it shows 1,300 backlinks.

I have checked under the section "Links to sites" in Google webmaster tools.

Why there is a steady decrease in backlinks in the Google webmaster tools. I think Google de-indexing all the backlinks which i get from blogger, web 2.0 sites, and other off page methods which i used to build backlinks for my site. Because of this my site's keyword are all went back.

Do everyone noticed the same issue.? Just open GWT and check for your site total backlinks and make note of it and check in next few days whether it is same or decreasing.

What we have to do in order to solve this major issues.

Thanks

Here's an article from Search Engine Land that explains the situation. In a nutshell, you most likely don't need to worry. Google says there are some "display issues" and they're working to resolve the glitch.

Beyond that, if you're concerned that some of your links might be devalued or dropped because they are lower-quality links, the solution is to move away from "cheap" links (i.e. "run of site" footer links, blog/forum comment links, free directory links, etc.) and instead work toward getting higher-quality links from legitimate, credible websites.

Thanks Torka. The article suits my thread.

But if these things continues, i am sure that Google will lose its place of No.1 search engine. Many new algorithm changes happening in this new year. Most of them were very much worried on these google update. Many were lost their rankings and does not know the proper reason behind it.

Many were trying to send request under GWT but not even getting proper reply from them. I send request for site reconsideration in GWT but it was more than 10 days. I did not get proper response from them.

I don't know what will happen in next few days. Google must action it.

This whole thing has really been confusing me too. I read that article about it being a glitch, but I don't know. I am reading a bunch about devaluing links today. It sounds like Google is really moving forward with this process. I don't really know how they determine a link that should be devalued. Here is an example i see in my webmaster tools right now. I had 10 links from a page, now there are only 5 showing. Sounds like a glitch because why would 5 get nixed? If is it a devaluation I guess this is a prime example of Google getting those who are trying to play the system. Getting those high quality link are the real prize.

Default Google Webmaster Shows increase in Links

I was very surprised on checking the my site backlinks in GWT.

Its now showing
Total links (149,663)

But the keywords are dropping gradually. Can't find the exact reason for the same.

This has been going on for awhile. The days are gone when people can decide by links alone how high they can rank. It's taking much more work, skill and imagination than before.

My site backlinks is increasing day by day as what was like earlier.

Today morning i checked and it shows around 159,595 total backlinks to one of my client site. But i can't see my site keywords are coming up because of this.
