And I'm curious to know how people do their review in practice

There are plenty of free or cheap utilities to check link validity, so there is no point to discuss them.

However, I did not find any automated solution even for spell checking.

Typically, you will start your review with business associates or friends, but everybody gets blind after a couple of reviews.

Asking for a review in a forum is a possibility, but I suppose it provides only superficial comments

Does anyone pay for human review of their web sites ? If yes, can you tell us about your experience ?
what companies do a good job ? Are they individual freelancers ? specialized organizations ? what is the price range ?
