I would really like some feedback on the overall site dynamics, -- anything that you think would help my conversion rate (conversion being a filled out form, at the bottom) -- any suggestions on content, features, etc would be much appreciated. The contact form is by far the main conversion goal and what I want every visitor to fill out.
What is it?
Many people ask me for advice when setting up a dedicated server and I am more than happy to help anyone that does, however - it usually takes me a few emails back and forth to just get the basic info I need to be able to get them a quote that meets their requirements.
I built the site mainly as a 'prettyfied' questionnaire form - at the moment it's pretty raw, but I will be expanding the form to ask all the necessary questions like number of CPUs, number of cores, CPU frequency, RAM, etc... that I need to find out, ideally with dropdox or checkboxes so that people that aren't even sure what they really want or what's available can flip thru the choices.
What do I do with the information? Because I have long standing relationships with many account managers at several of the larger hosting companies (such as The Planet, which is now SoftLayer but the same, or Superb.net), I am in the loop and usually know about any deals that are available, including any unpublished closing deals, and because of this can usually negotiate a much better rate for new customers than most people would be able to achieve if they contacted the company directly.
