Default Deep Linking: How to build quality links to deeper content

Authored by: Rob Sullivan

Full Text: http://www.searchengineguide.com/sul...2005/1024.html

A Snippet:

Sometimes one of the hardest things to do for any website is build links to deep content. This is because while it may take hundreds or thousands of links to help a home page rank highly, it may only take a few to help a deep page rank.

I believe that having quality links beats quantity. Relevant content is important because i want refined, targeted traffic to my site. Content is king.

Default Hm, not so sure about the suggestions in this article

This one for example:

Quote:
For example, if its a blog, you may be able to comment on the blog post. Add you comment as something like: "I read this article and found it very useful. I also found this page (and insert a link to your page) which is related and provides more information" or something to that effect.
Comments looking like that tend to get picked up as spam by my blog, and if that was all they said, I'd tend to agree with that assessment. Plus links left in comments on wordpress are surrounded by nofollow tags - don't know whether search engines pay any attention to these, but the intention was that they would. Or is this suggestion that by leaving the comment, the blogger would then reciprocate with a fixed link as it were?

Jax

I tend to agree with Jax on this one. Posting for the point of dropping a link isn't the best way to make friends and influence people.

Insteadn, post comments because you are honestly interested. If your comments are insightful, people will trace them back to your site.

Link building is akin to relationship building. Treat people (and their sites) with respect and chances are it will pay off.

I can't agree more with the two posts above. It's amazing the memories (good or bad) people have online.

This is very interesting, its a subject that I continue to learn more about. It seems straight forward but not necessarily.

Thumbs up

To build a quality links, you must search such a link partners on the net, who have some informatics and relevant sites. Do not exchange links with sites which are no-follow links and don't have Google back links and don't have in Google catch. Search your keywords and find relevant sites. make a list and drop him mail, remember your title(Sub of mail) must be looks friendly ( Anti Spam). Tell him value of link building. use free links, one way links you will get from seo friendly directories. and do-follow blog comments. you comments must be looks original. make comment only related to your site(relevant) Blogs only. Remember, don't spam, it will harm your site also. Don't forget Google is watching you...
