As a blog writer I like the idea of finding other peoples content attached to affiliate programs. I like it when the marketer writes compelling articles to engage the reader, who will want to learn more, and make a purchase of their ebook or products, and then pays me a commission, Life is good!

I'm just beginning to formulate ways to use these, but a couple ideas came to mind.

1) use the articles within your newsletter as a hidden content ad
2) use the articles as enticements to do something else (i.e sign up and well send you 10 articles to help you ....)
3) expand audiences perception of site related staff/affiliates (looks like you have more people when you credit the author). We're teaming up with Mr. X, a leading writer of Y, to help you Z.

I tend to look for sub $100 products which might be purchased on a whim or out of curiosity.

Just my .02 - take it for all it is worth.

thank you for the information. Also, there' the squidoo.com where you can post your artiucle and earn a profit from it or you can donate it to the orphanage. But the bottom line there is, you ba able to post your article and of course with your link or your site.that can add traffic to your site.

I really dont know the procedure or the rules . i just read this information in one of the blogs. Just check if it is really true.
