I know we always suggest both if possible, especially for new domains or domains with start-up SEO value. Of course, depends on some things. I try to stick with white hat approaches, so naturally it takes more time to rank.
It only makes sense to have both and other marketing channels to test and see which brings the best results. We'd throw social media and email marketing into the equation.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but traffic types converting, isn't organic traffic ahead of PPC? I've always say
1. Organic traffic
2. Email
3. PPC
When it comes to conversions, goals, ect.
I know the order changes per market, but majority speaking, I see this order a lot.
What a lot of people don't realize that landing pages need to convert. As SEOs, all you can do is deliver traffic, so SEO is always half of the goal. Nobody cares about ranking first page and they shouldn't, it's all about $$$. Always
