To be perfectly honest, it's not that easy to make $100K for yourself, just as it's not easy to get a job earning $100K. If there were something like that, everyone would be doing it (then the market would become overly competitive), or it would cost a lot to get started.

I agree with Torka. Find something you like to do, then learn everything you can about it. You may have to find a special spin on your love in order to make it profitable or brainstorm several things you like.

And don't forget, there's always online business you can do based upon the things you know and love. But you won't make $100K in the first year or five and you'll probably need to moonlight while you get it off the ground. Just being realistic.
