How To Attract People To A Facebook Page?

So, its been 3 days since the Facebook page of Star Domestic Cleaners is live and I am wondering how to attract people to like it.

At the moment it is nowhere near a finished page in terms of contents, but can you recommend any special trick that has worked for you and has built you audience. Excluding the paid options, of course.

I am quite a newbie in FB marketing, so any help will be appreciated. And any like of course!

Will return a favour of your wish!

FB Pages, in my opinion, should be used as a viral-component of your marketing program, not the sole avenue for it. Facebook pages are a great tool for increasing the reach of your audience for free as well as generating more business and of course revenue for it.

The easiest way of bringing more likes/fans/members to your Facebook page is by using your other marketing materials, whether it's your website, direct mail pieces, in store literature etc. to have the 'like' or 'join' your page and instantly receive a coupon or what not.

This allows you to use the coupon as a segmentation sale and then the Facebook page as a continual marketing tool for your members.

However, just as a thought, you may want to use Facebook Groups rather than Pages, as Pages FB only displays your content up to 16% of your members (once you get larger). With Facebook groups, EVERYONE gets your messages.

That's a good bit of advice, Mr. Kirby!

No problem. Just remember that you will need a goal in mind before you do anything. Why do you want your customers liking your page? What's the end goal?

Also, to turn it around, why would they want to like your page? Why would they want to sign up for your newsletter?

Always have the goal in mind.

Here are some tips to follow Ė

1. You need to add a Like button as it makes easy for the visitors to like the page without leaving the website.
2. Have you added your page to your personal profile? This practice will help you to promote your Facebook page via comment system on Facebook.
3. Donít forget to invite your friends as well as your email contacts.
4. For exposure, you need to participate on niche related Facebook pages.
5. Facebook Ads too plays a vital role in attracting people to your Facebook page.

If a page doesn't have much likes then that would not be much effective you have to get a certain amount of audience to pull the post up to make it go viral.:thumbsup2

I totally agree with mygatenow, my good content is being wasted because I've got no real audience with the mere 20 likes...
