How To Know My Blog's Backlinks?

How do I know how many backlinks my blog has? Do signatures on forums counts as BL?

PS: Any information regarding checking, building backlinks would be welcome.

You should be able to find all the answers to your questions on google webmasters. Have fun!

You can check all things (backlinks, keywords) using Google Analytics. I have been using it for two years already.

I use GA all the time to see the traffic and its sources. Where in GA can I see the BLs?

As far as forum signatures counting as backlinks, every link counts in some way. Some links more, some less. A nofollow tag on a link prevents someone from passing link juice to a site, but there is still a some benefit for having the link.

i personally use bluebacklinks to see my baclinks. Yes signatures is often times considered as backlink but on my experience i only get a few coming from forums. Quality of post is vital.

I use backlinkwatch to check.

You can use Google webmaster tools, Yahoo! siteexplorer and open siteexplorer for checking your backlinks.

Also you can use trackbacks to get a notification whenever someone links to your blog.
