FaceBook Fan Page Vs Google+ Brand Page

Google+ has also introduced a feature to promote your website called Brand Page. What do you think about it in terms of promotion?

Facebook fan pages is better. I try to stay away from Google as much as i can, due to obvious reasons, privacy. Not saying Facebook is any better.

for best results use both

I agree with Isaac, use both. if you're managing one, why not do 2? it doesn't take that much extra time to keep up with a second social media site. they both have some pros and cons. Google's main pro is visibility and FB's big one is their reach, fb has far more users than G+

In my opinion, both should be used as these belong to some unmatchable sources. The promotion strategy should be enriched in all possible tools available to be competitive in the market.

As for me I choose Facebook as it has proved its effeciancy and Google+ is too young and they need to improve the options to prefer it.

Actually, there's no harm in trying both in promotion. G+ is really good and I think in the near future it will be a must to have an account in G+. So just try.

I own my own SEM agency and we use both. Facebook for the reach and Google because it'll end up being the new LinkedIn. We've been seeing huge growth in Google+ for businesses.

That's obvious because SEO is now incomplete without the social media interaction.

Agree with the rest. No harm trying out both.
